WHAT IS IT
Some products can be imported into the territory of the Customs Union without an EAC certificate or declaration of conformity.
SUCH AS EXAMPLE
Used products (second hand products)- Parts and spare parts of already certified products
- Products for the personal use of individuals (within the permitted limits)
- Product samples
- Products for personal use of legal persons (with certain requisites)
- Goods destined for diplomatic corps and international organizations, including their employees
The Refusal Letter for Customs is a document issued by accredited Certification Bodies and it specifies that the products to be imported into the Russian Federation or the Customs Union are exempt from mandatory certification.
It can be requested when the product customs tariff number or commodity code is included in the customs list of products for which the certificate or declaration of conformity is required, but, for technical or regulatory reasons, are excluded from mandatory certification. In this case, for the customs clearance of the goods it is sufficient to present the aforementioned Refusal Letter to the Customs authorities.
