The EAC Certificate for the Customs Union EAC is one of two new EAC Certification documents introduced with the new reform of technical regulations (TR CU) in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.

EAC certification for shoes, clothing and bags
EAC certification for shoes, clothing and bags , clothing and bags usually need to be certified according to technical regulation TR CU 017, the outcome of the certification process is generally an EAC Declaration of conformity.

EAC certification furniture
Through the description to follow, we are to give a general and, brief but complete overview of common situations and related Gost R and EAC certifications associated. It is not possible however to cover all the possible exceptions that may arise. The EAC certification process for furniture, doors, windows and coatings in Russia. Besides this document other certificates may be required by the regulation, or by the client: for example a Mandatory Fire Certificate for Russia, or a Voluntary Fire safety certification. Furthermore the Sanitary certificate SGR may be required in cases of interaction with infants or due to the use of certain chemical compounds.
Technical Regulations TR CU applicable to the case of EAC Declaration for furniture, doors, windows, coatings and paints are:

EAC Certification of industry products and not
Belonging to this category are a wide range of products. Hence the sector is governed by several technical regulations. Conformity EAC certifications takes the form of various types of documents depending on the specific object of the certification.

Most of machinery and industrial equipment, is to be compulsorily certified before being sold in Russia and in the EAC Customs Union, they are generally subjected to EAC declaration regime. Generally, such a declaration is issued according to three technical regulations:

TR CU 004/2011 on the safety of low voltage equipment;
TR CU 010/2011 on the safety of machinery and equipment;
TR CU 020/2011 on electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices;

EAC certificate

The EAC Certificate for the Customs Union EAC is one of two new EAC Certification documents introduced with the new reform of technical regulations (TR CU) in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The latter being the EAC Declaration for the Custom Union EurAsEC.


The first, predominant difference compared to the GOST R Certifications, is the validity extended to the five member countries of the Eurasian Customs Union: Russia, Belarus Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.


The new rules have not entered into force simultaneously for all sectors of production, the legislation EAC in fact was scheduled in a three years time frame. The schedule is reported in the page devoted to the EAC regulations agenda.


In practice, for the EAC Certificate applicant, several differences are to be taken into consideration if compared with the issuance of a Declaration GOST R or a Certificate issued according technical regulations Gost TR.

Technical documentation
Technical Passport
A technical passport is a document intended for the customer. It contains the most important technical data of the machine or device and the operating characteristics. The technical passport must be available throughout the life cycle of a device or machine. The technical passport is issued by the manufacturer according to the standards GOST 2.601-2013 and 2.610-2006. In certain cases, the technical passport must be presented to a notified body for certification. The technical passport shall be issues separately for each plant or machine and each serial number. The technical passport is written in Russian but it can be translated in English.

The technical passport contains information on the manufacturer's warranty, technical parameters, information on the certification and disposal of the product as well as all additional information about assembly, commissioning or maintenance. All changes made to the machine are entered in the passport: modernization, conversion, installation of spare parts, repair, and welding work.
Manual
The instruction manual is one of the technical documentation required for the conformity assessment process. All important information about the design, operation, characteristics, components of machine or system, disposal, transport, maintenance, repairs, technical condition, which should ensure correct and safe operation of machine or system, are entered in the instruction manual.

An instruction manual can be created for several similar products, types, models or series.

The instruction manual shall comply with the standards GOST R 54121-2010, GOST R 2.601-2013 and 2.610-2006 and the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union TR CU 010/2011 On safety of machinery and equipment, TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment. Particular requirements for the operating instructions are given in Annex 2 of the Technical Regulation TR CU 016/2011 On safety of appliances burning gaseous fuels.

Safety Justification
A safety justification is a document that contains the risk assessment, information on the minimum required safety measures from the design and operating documents, and technical documentation. The document accompanies the machine in all phases of its life cycle. The safety justification must be constantly updated and extended with the results of the risk assessment during operation and after repairs. The safety justification is intended to ensure the safety of employees and protect them from accidents and damage of their health or the environment.

The important requirements for the preparation of a safety justification are contained in the Technical Regulations TR CU 010/2010 On safety of machinery and equipment and TR CU 032/2013 On safety of pressure equipment.

The content and structure of the safety justification is provided by GOST-R standard 54122-2010 "Safety of machinery and equipment. Requirements for the safety consideration" and GOST 33855-2016 "Safety justification. Recommendations for preparation".
